Last NAMble of 2023
With a view to walking off some Christmas over-indulgence, a festive NAMble across the Norfolk countryside has been kindly organised by John Walden.
The NAMble will be followed by an optional delicious meal & drink set in The Burston Crown public house; a traditional family pub and restaurant with a roaring open log fire.

WHEN: Saturday 30 December 2023
WHAT TIME: 10:00am meet at The Burston Crown Pub car park in Mill Road Burston, IP22 5TW for a 10:15am start
WHO: We are aiming to make our NAMble’s accessible to everyone – we love to see as many of you there as possible, 4 legged friends welcome 
WHAT IS THE ROUTE: Across fields and rutted tracks and some surfaced road and footpath…….so unless frozen solid, the ground is likely to be muddy in places. There is one fence to climb over which may be awkward for lifting BIG dogs, but the route can be altered slightly to avoid this and reduces the walk by about 0.5 miles.
NOTES:
- NAMble’s usually end with a picnic, but this one is ending with an optional pub lunch at the Burston Crown. If you would like to purchase a meal/light bite, please could you let us know before 22 December as we need to inform the pub of possible numbers. You can reply on social media or by email to events@n-a-m.co.uk
A menu and pricelist can be found on the pub website at https://www.theburstoncrown.com/ - Parking is available in the pub car park, however there is further parking in the play area opposite.
- The route is approximately 4.4 miles with option to reduce to 2.4 miles.
- Toilets are available in the pub
- Please remember your walking boots/wellies
